I'm looking for a shop or fellow member to weld my sliders onto my 2014 DCSB. If you had a shop do it, where did you go?

Did you have to give them any specific instructions or did they just know how to do it? I have BAMF sliders with kickout.

With any fabbers, you have to communicate your preferences, since there are many choices to be made. In my case, I didn't want the bars to stick out too far (in particular, not farther than the outside of the tires), but far enough out to protect the sheet metal. That should be agreed on. Also, I wanted to maximize the ground clearance, and have them up as far as possible.

Thanks for the info and recommendation! I'm going to call them this afternoon and see what they say.

BTW, I saw a blue 2nd gen with a lift, wheels, tires and soft topper two days ago near Arden. Very nice looking truck. Owner a member here? If so, awesome ride!

Have you already bought your weld-on sliders? If not, I understand that the 2nd-gen Tacos have a built-in factory mounts (threaded holes) for bolt-on sliders.

Yeah I already purchased weld on's from BAMF. Finished painting them this weekend and now looking for someone to install them. I called the shop you recommended and they were very helpful. Going to try and bring my truck down there on Thursday to have them take a look.
