Yea we had to get em out of the water and bring em to highland. The cows will swim. Calves get tired quick and will drown.

Its cause the camera is dirty and everyone is moving and my phone can't take moving pics worth a fuck lol.

Our neighbors came to help big time with the boat. They literally roped and pulled 5 calf's in the boat while in 3-4' water. A cow even tried to get in the boat with them and almost flipped them.

We got about 13 cows and 15 calf's out. Still missing half the herd but hopefully they swim to good land. Nothing we can do anymore.

Veal is tastey, but damnit Phill, my statement of Kale's heroism is crumbling now!

 

I harvested a yearling axis once. It was amazingly tasty.
