    BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!

Just curious, I never been... Is that as close as you are allowed to get driving? I'd have to get closer... Hiking if necessary.

And i agree.... Whiskey is delicious. :D

Only attached at the bottom. I pull equipment trailers. I don't do much if any rock crawling. The are supposed to increase sag resistance exponentially. The more weight you add the firmer they get. I am not a fan of air bags. There is a thread in this forum about them. Super easy install. 1/2 hour at best. Only thing I was concerned about is they recommend a u-bolt toque of 95 ft. Lbs. specs from Toyota say 52. I did 70 and will check in a week or two see if they are still tight. I think they were going by one of the old specs from before 2016. Amazon has the best price on them.
For our truck you want SSR-610-40. $193.31 including shipping. They come out of Taylor PA.

I see you got that custom fold back windshield option. I tried but they said very limited quantities and they are made to order and I couldn't wait that long! HAHA sorry, I couldn't help myself. :anonymous:

So far no complaints. I didn't notice any difference in ride. I haven't loaded it up or slapped on the loaded trailer yet though. Seemed like a good alternative to air bags. It is supposed to be a made of a material that does not degrade over time or exposure to the elements.

This is way above the valley floor. Yes, as close as you can drive on this route. You can get a tad closer on valley roads, but still not terribly close in a vehicle.

You can hike to the top with a -hard to get - permit.

Looks beautiful, I've never been there.
Do you just drive up there or do you need permits and stuff like that?

EDIT: Sorry didn't see your last post about the permit

Awesome, thanks. I've been thinking to get them but was wondering whether they require an AAL in the back or if I can just run them leveled out like that. Looks damn good.

I've been wanting to take a trip up there but don't know what area has the best trails or most popular to see all the beautiful sights.
