What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

6000k is the color spectrum.

 

I think you gotta use them whole to fill the space they sit in on the bedside. Might look funky (small) just using the SR5 portion.

 

Mine are 9800lm. 4900 per side. My fog lamps are 6000lm each . Plus the switchbacks are like 2000lm each

 

Yeah, been holding them up to it and imaginating (GW Bush word) on how it'd look both ways.

I did this the other day at the dump in the F150, full tank and driver weighed 5920lbs... Fatass

 

...and yet they get similar gas mileage.

 

17/22 is what I average but, 360hp and almost 10k tow rating.

Still though, I miss the Tacoma. The F150 is a pig in the city and definitely not a truck to take in the woods.

Craigslist Tonneau cover for $100

 

Only 11 months old and just did the 5th oil change. Gave her a quick bath too. Planning on changing diff fluids this summer. Never done that before, but seems straight forward from the write ups here. Just about to hit 27,000 miles.

 

Got a bakflip g2 bed cover. About to get another new one through insurance due to the hail damage this one received recently.

 

Also got my redline hood struts installed this weekend!! So nice being able to pop the hood and not having that support bar in the way!

How did you anchor your fork mounts to the Backflip? I was thinking about doing something similar to my Extang Solid Fold so I wouldn't have to remove it every time I want to haul the bikes. Was actually going to mount mine pointing down on the middle panel so that they would be pointing up for use and near the back window when the cover was opened. Sheet metal screws in the thin skin doesn't seem like it would be strong enough.

 

Ok. This is it. Absolutely no more. Over the last week or so I trimmed my ladder rack 3". Didn't like the color so I wet sanded it and painted it with black bumper paint. I added a Wet Okole seat cover, Mobtown tailgate skin and cap, and today installed the Firestone ride right airbags and installed the summer wheels. I need to get off this sight. Lol

 

That's a nice clean engine bay you got there!

I have to get around to cleaning mine one day... hopefully.
