    I honestly don't know if that would have helped there was so much dust in the air it was well above our roof line of the trucks

    Yeah, I don't think a snorkel would have made any bit of difference like you said. Damn dust cloud was 20' in to the air.

    yeah, i think the trick is to have a snorkel with one of the vortex filters on it to 90% of the dust never makes it into the intake in the first place

    Donaldson makes them, just have to find one that fits your particular snorkel, they make them in a bunch of sizes
