Best bet is to find like a local shop or distributer and get on a pallet.

I ordered four procomp wheels through auto anything and paid 90 bucks for overnight shipping. It literally took 20 hours to get here from the time I ordered. It was crazy.

So today I had Total Truck Accessory Center unbolt my Pelfreybilt rock sliders, rhino line them, and then bolt them back on. It took them only about 30 minutes to unbolt them, and 30 minutes to bolt them back on. Which I was impressed by. They look great but I'm curious and wondering if they didn't put them on right, because of the space between the front passenger door and the slider, it just looks bigger than it used to be. When I had Green Tree Fab install them for the first time back in August or July they said it took them 3 hours to install them but they looked totally flush and the spacing was even from the way it looked. Am I missing something here or am I seeing things? The picture where my truck is clean is how they used to look before rhino lining and when GTF had installed them

Look at the gap between the bottom of the rocker panel and the top of the slider

Loosen the bolts and readjust them if they aren't perfect. Shouldn't need a shop to do that

Double check along the frame that there isn't something snagging where the break lines run.

I will if I need to but just didn't feel like messing with them if it wasn't necessary

Can also get one end bolted flush and tight. Then use a jack to help push the other end up to the frame and bolt it down all the way.

I was wondering about the brake lines, I thought you had to reroute em, not sure how long that'd take em in case they didn't do it and it should've taken them longer, I'll take a look today

lol nah I don't like permanent things like that on my truck, plus if I ever want to touch them up they can just be unbolted, like I had yesterday. If I had a dedicated trail rig then I would though "Where we're going we don't need bolts" lmao

Curious now though, since I have used sliders for sliding around trees a lot and bouncing off a rock I think at least once, how many bolts hold yours to the frame? I bet welding is a lot stronger, but maybe not?

Isn't welding stuff to your frame like that bad for the frame? Im no welder by far but from ive learned from others and read, welder on your frame (particularly going top to bottom) screws with the integrity scientifically. (I dont remember the exact words)

If your frame is some fancy allow then yes. Pretty sure the Tacoma frames are not an alloy that are weakened when welded on. Chromoly is an example of weakening when being welded unless properly heat treated afterwards.

Well the titanic had both bolts and welds and look how that turned out. Id imagine that as long as you don't use cheap bolts and have plenty going horizontally and vertically it would be just as strong as welds

6 bolts to the frame + more, see my problem is I don't have the right tools so I always rely on a buddy down the street when he's available lol which isn't often
