I am willing to bet that you maybe getting your vibes due to the 2nd half of your driveshaft. On the prerunners the driveshaft is different but when the rear of the vehicle is lifted it starts to pull the driveshaft out of the flange on the transmission. What is commonly used is a driveshaft spacer which I have attached pics below which will return the driveshaft to the stock location. On the 4wd's they have an expandable sleeve on the 2nd part of the driveshaft which when you lift the rear of the vehicle the concept will apply as far as starting the separate it farther than stock. Not sure if the flange is the same as on the 2016's as on previous models but if it is you could possibly use one of these. You would just have to figure out what thickness you would need. I am listing a link for the spacers and you could always call them to assist.

    How are you liking this set up? I'm eyeing a 3-1 lift and can't decide on tires. 285 70 17 or 265 70 17....

They are Toyo at 2's, they do offer them with the white letters which I turned to the inside. I said in a previous post also that the white lettered tires are six pounds lighter than the black wall because of where they are made.

Here's my update on the recalibration to get rid of that traction control issue being so sensitive and kicking on the ABS. They tried to do the reset but it did not fix the problem. Good news is he didn't charge me anything for trying. Oh well I guess I just have to disarm it by pushing the button for 5 seconds every time I start up the vehicle.

I appreciate that idea about the driveshaft spacer. I have shims coming in the mail tomorrow to try to shim the Leafs to get the differential more in line with the drive shaft. Will probably try that first, already talked with the mechanic on it. He's going to do that when he installs the AMP running boards probably on Thursday I'm hoping.
