    I don't know... you should talk to @BoatRacer about thinking of putting an LS into a Tacoma with low miles. He is contemplating it. Also, might have a connection for an LS.

    I just picked up an L33 with future plans for a swap. Not because I'm dis satisfied with the Toyota 4.0, I'm done with this absolute POS 6-speed. Due to the 4.0 not having a provision for a pilot bearing to support another transmission, a whole drivetrain swap will happen if I keep this truck. Had to replace the tob at 22K miles, went to the replacement from URD that's supposed to the fix and it started squealing last week with 28K miles on the fix! Enough of my rant, check B&R for good LQ engines. I've bought two LQ 4's from them with great results.

    T-56 6-speed and a 2-speed atlas. My buddy is a vendor for atlas, but even so, this would be the most expensive part of the swap.
