How low does your outdoor temp guage read on the overhead console

    It was below -30 degrees celcius, and my temp guage doesn't read below it, it was just 2 dashes, just curious if this is limited to me, 2009 trd

    That's not the temp - that's a fault code! It means, take out the a/c unit and sell it to someone in FL and put a smudge pot under the oil pan! ;)

    I got 7 degrees 'F' didnt check the celcius button this morning here in Maine,your car wont be able to show you wind chill...

    thats the lowest i seen in F which i'm sure if i google it is the conversion, so i guess thats the lowest it goes

    ive seen mine at -43 but the temps never lower than that anywhere i go

    Page 308 of the U.S. Tacoma (2009) manual states that
    When -- °F or --°C is displayed
    The system may be malfunctioning. Take your vechilce to your Toyota dealership.

    The manual also states that the temperature range that can be displayed is from -22°F (-30°C) to 122°F (50°C)
    Interesting!

    Both of you win the for the coldest temps!

    How you people survive in anything less than 40 F is beyond me. If I see it hit 32F i just go back inside and get under the covers.

    Did the older ones actually read lower than the newer trucks because mine will not go below -30C. I know it was -40 last weekend and all it would read is -30c
