I refuse to do this alone, someone is going to have to help me. Just tell me what i need to bring, other than truck and bumper . I am picking it up tomorrow from PC. I'm ready!

 

Angle grinder or some sorta cutting sheet metal tool of choice, A tape measure, some painters tape, and 2 giant balls to cut into your expensive rig

 

2 big balls= check
Angle grinder with new cut off wheels=check
Tape measure= check
Painters tape= check
Help with install= looking for volunteers now.

Fuqit, im bringing it with all tools. We are going to make this happen.

 

I'll help. Me, @EddyRRT ,@SGTCap, and @Boogyman all have H/C bumpers. The installation is basically all the same.

Anybody have vinyl wrap experience or can recommend a good (quality & price) painter?

All lined up to grab a camper shell tomorrow but it's white. I'll either wrap it flat black myself or take it straight to paint to color-match it.

If you wrap I want to help. I plan on doing my roof in the near future satin black

 

Don't know if I can wait until May 1st driving around with a white camper shell but I'd definitely love the help!

I've considered satin black but not sure about the shine since if I'm going with a black wrap (over color matching) be it temporary or permanent, I'd like it to be as close to the PC black I've already got.

 

I've been on the hunt for a little bit. Finding one in Pyrite Mica at a very low price is pretty much impossible. This is why I'm jumping on this one...

It'll need paint (or wrap) and Thule or Yakima channels installed for my matching BajaRack camper rack...

 

You arnt too far from me if you need a hand. I think gloss black would look like you got a painted factory black shell and matte would look like you derped it. See if you can find a close color to pyrite. I've seen some pretty close colored wraps before

 

I think that'll be difficult to make look good with as much color changing goes on with the pyrite color...you have valid points too so maybe satin is the way to go.

 

It was my thought process on wrapping my roof lol I want to show I did something aftermarket but I don't want it to look like i cheaped out and did plasti dip
