Yeah defintely something I thought about and don't think it would look bad except for the gap between the front and side rack. Mine is 4".

Like between the cabrac and toprac (I said side rack, my bad)

I just went out and there is 1 extra hole in the tracks that isn't drilled down through the cap .. it's behind the first bolt. Think I'll just go ahead and drill that hole out in the cap then if I didn't want the wires just put another bolt in it.

Can't you just tap those into the brake or back up light wires? F you can then I would just run it down to the topper rear window. Keep under the window but don't go into the rubber gasket. Just wondering out loud.

whole lotta pages here, but has anyone else run into their toprac being 1" shorter than the cabrac bar height for it to be flat across both racks? i have no doubt i could have dicked something up. ARE CX series shell standard 5' toprac from this year's GB and the cabrac from the GB last year.

Wanted to mount my light bar before I took some pics. So here we go! Thanks so much Zach for an awesome rack, I couldn't be happier. The light bar is a 40" Morimoto XTorch sold by The RetroFit Source. Thanks @JeffP213 and @BYJOSHCOOK for pointing me in their direction.

I'm looking at a similar gap between "feet" and the tracks on my camper shell. If I follow Geekhouse's recommendations, are there any concerns about the torque the feet will put on the tracks?

PITA haha. Those damn weather stripping you guys have sucked to cut up without a punch ha. Get the punch it'll make things easier to cut/line up during the process

    Thanks man!

Thanks! Mounting wasn't too bad. A little difficult to get your screws to align with the holes in the roof if the bushings aren't perfectly aligned. Other then that great design, very easy to assemble.

I am looking at these and the Baja rack. Any input on why you chose PrInSu?

Cheaper, imo looks better, and from what I've heard from Baja owners it does better for gas mileage. I don't know the functionality of the Baja racks, but you can do damn near everything to a Prinsu

I'm actually selling a baja rack. I went with a Prinsu rack because of how versatile it is. The design is low profile, which I like because my baja rack was. Also I wanted a light bar on the roof but I didn't want it to stick out on the top, Zach has a 30" and 40" cutout in the wind deflector for a light bar so it sits flush and blends in well. Also the cross bars on the top work better for what I'm going to mount on my roof and I can move and add bars.

Hmm well these are all really good reasons. I thought they cost more than the Baja racks, but the Baja cost a ton for shipping!
I do like the light bar a lot more on the PrInSu!
