From what I have found, these standard load 285 Falkens are the heaviest tire in their size. When you see them in front of you it is clear why. While the tread depth is only 14/32, they do look Brawny.

So the P 285 Falkens are.... What load range. The LTs are E rated 10 ply @ 58.9 lbs. Again @Hairy Taco, you have have the P285s on yours?

Y'all considering the pic from online and a pic of 265 not on the truck something to look at? You need to see them on a truck. Therefore yup 2 pics that have credibility to how these look. Just saying my .02

P rated tires are P rated tires.

Don't confuse them with LT tires which are C, D, E, etc.

Yeah, I'm trying to stick with P rating. I don't want or need the extra weight. I'm settled on 265/75/R16 - I wonder though how the P-rated A/TW3s compare to similar spec tires of other brands? Some of my other favorites are the Toyo Open Country and the Nitto Trail Grappler... but from old research I did, they are pretty heavy in their category as well. I have to check Duratracs and Cooper ST Maxx and see how those compare in weight. However, that all said, I think I'm happy with 43.9 pounds for the ATW3 265/75/16. It's the LT weights I'm afraid of.

Well the other two tires your comparing are also over a hundred dollars more a tire. So idk what your budget is but if these tires live up to the hype, then you won't be able to beat the price.

You might have a point. I wasn't looking at price. True.

There are pictures in other threads if you search. I think in the black truck thread there was one posted recently, leveled with Bilsteins and running 265/75r16 Wildpeaks

Your comments contribute nothing to this thread.

Awesome! Because I want to see a new tire on trucks with a title attributing how good this product is. Sure it means nothing because I don't have them. But because I have interest and want to decide how'd they look? I'm all of a sudden relinquished my first amendment.

First amendment protects you from the government. Literally has nothing to do with a privately run website or personal interactions.

But because I take pity on people ...

265/75r16, P rated, Bilstein at 0.85 with 1/2" shims in rear.

It's a new tire, there aren't many trucks running these let alone Tacoma's. If you want to see how they look then buy them. @JoeRacer302 leave this one alone you can't please everyone.

I'm already a fan because of the price, and the fact that I can get a P rated 285, hopefully save some power and mpgs.

Getting mine mounted tonight. I'll update with a quick review from the drive home, may take a longer route just to test them out.

Got em mounted up tonight (my friend who does it can only do them at night) and all I can say is wow, these are quiet for how agressive they look. I am coming from Goodyear assurance tripletred's which are nearly silent, so to compare to those is pretty amazing. Now they are not dead silent but on my trip home of maybe 10 miles I couldn't really hear much, and nothing over radio or wind noise. Pictures will be coming but for now I'm too tired and it's dark anyways. I will say though these tires look great on Stealth 6 wheels. I am very happy and know I made the right choice.

It's crazy how silent they are. Even with my window down and driving next to the middle dividing wall they are super quiet for an aggressive AT. I agree they are super sexy paired with stealth 6.
