I got that first one and then haven't seen another. Maybe in May we might get our second letter down here.

What gets aligned on a solid axle leaf spring rear? What's back there to adjust?

Or is it assumed that the positional change of the rear with the new robust (and I use that term loosely) leaves alters the settings of the front, because the rear has been lifted?

Back on my 08 when they put TSB Springs on they also did a front end alignment as part of it.

I went to the dealer this morning for the "inspection." The guy said that I would just get new 2+1 packs with 4 clips instead of 3. I said no. I will get new 3+1 packs like everyone else. He proceeded to say "Toyota wouldn't give you something that didn't originally come on the truck." And I almost lost it. Then the kicker came, "Oh. Well we haven't actually done this for anyone yet." I just started laughing at that point. I explained to him that every single person that I've seen so far has gotten 3+1 packs. He was insistent that I would get 2+1 packs.

I hope this gets sorted out when he goes to order them and finds out that the recall packs are 3+1. Anybody have any insight? When he goes to order will they tell him that the recall packs are 3+1?

Went in for TPMS reprogramming for new wheels, also the spring inspection. Left an hour and forty five minutes later with new springs.

Hey question for all of you.

Will they sort this out when they go to order?

No problems with adding an AAL. Just need a new longer center pin. I got mine from Wheelers.

So that number should on the leaf spring? There are white numbers on one and yellow on the other.

Yes, that's the number for a set of leaf springs. The other number I gave would be the ubolts, plates and such. Not sure what you mean by the white and yellow numbers?

I can probably get the numbers off my springs tomorrow. I'm kinda doped up right now after my visit to the VA and can barely see straight and sure as hell can't move well.

I also have the ICON Progressive AAL. I took my truck in for inspection for the Leaf recall, I explained to the service manager that I had to install the AAL because the leafs were sagging and seem that they would break. 4 hours later, I got a call stating to pick up my truck and that the parts were on order, and I should expect them in 3 weeks. The recommendation is... to take your truck to a real Dealer that cares about your safety and business.

The ones on the springs themselves like Windsor said. I'm fairly certain I should be good since the ones on my truck now came from a 2015 with low mileage. Not seeing that 2015's have a leaf recall.
