    I have this tailgate lock that I never installed. Asking $60. I'm losing a few bucks, but it beats letting it sit here. Shipping is $5 to any US address. I can also ship to locations outside the US but will need to get a shipping quote for you.

    Caleb, should fit 2015...they didn't change until 3rd gen. I recommend you look at the install video and then look at my mod so you don't have issues with the operation of the handle rubbing.

    $100 PL5400 Black Manual Tailgate Lock with Bolt Codeable Technology for Toyota Tacoma
    PL5400 from pop and lock really should do the mod. Works great for me, not sure if many have made it, but I don't have any issues of rubbing...works just as well as factory handle. I love the fact that I don't need another key too. As backup I plan to install the powered version as well with the PL5400, but haven't yet and I still like the new handle. Hope that helps the OP make an easier sell.

    Do you have to unlock this every time you want to drop the tailgate? or is it more you lock it when you want it locked and the rest of the time you can have act like a stock?

    If you leave it unlocked..it stays unlocked...if you lock it... it's locked. It's just a basic lock mechanism that has BOLT technology so that once you put the engine key it is mapped to that key only and you got one shot to do it right. After that...it's married to that key and you can't change it. So it's great for me since I don't have to carry another key on the keychain.

    This is boxed for shipping and ready to go. I've had interest, but every deal always falls apart. If you want this, and if you can pay today, please send a PM. I am not interested in sending more pictures of it. Several have asked and I see no reason to do so. Pictures of this lock are all over the internet. I have it completely boxed up and don't want to open it again.
