If Euro's are in June and summer US tour in July.... that means none of the players playing at EURO's for their countries will be avaliable. You'll probably get to see the B team or academy players

 

I'm happy with anything blues action I can see. Usually the tours are on the east coast.

 

Trip to east cost?

 

I'm not willing to spend approx $1000 (plane tickets, hotel, game tickets, etc.) to watch one game live. I've traveled to the different pubs while working, but none of them are like my home pub. So I can always watch from there and feel like I'm there lol

 

@jfstaco - Do you also watch MX league? Looking forward to that America game tonight.

I sometimes watch the MX lueage but only the playoffs, but when the Mexican National Team play than yes I watch it.
America is playing in Concacaf CL tonight right? America is the most hated football team in Mexico...

 

I watch Liga MX. I watch just about anything that's soccer to be honest. I deal with someone in Mexico that's an America fan so I try and watch as much of their games as possible so I have something to BS with him about.

 

Do you know/remember Teo Gutierrez, and if you do, what's your honest opinion about him? My team (Sporting Clube De Portugal) bought him this summer... started off great, then had a rough spot, now seems like he's picking it up again.

Yea he is good, I think that slump is a big part of the natural progression when going into the euro leagues, just like anything leaving your "home" has an adjustment period. He did pretty well for his country during the world cup as well after Falcao (another out of River Plate) was injured.

 

Cool. About mid season, right before and then during and after the Christmas break, he went back home and then there were all sorts of rumors flying around that he didn't want to go back to Portugal, wanted out, was due to show up one day and didn't, etc. I personally like him. After seeing him in the Copa America last year, and found out we managed to get him, was super psyched. Started out the year great, but then all that happened and since then he was a shadow of himself from the beginning of the year. Starting to come around now, scoring and assisting. Hoping he can help us win the league this year finally!

 

Ramiro Funes Mori is a piece of shit. A deserved Red Card.

 

I would have to imagine a part of his heart was left in river plates stadium, no way can it feel the same from one stadium to the other, if you have blood running through your veins and love the game nothing compares to argentina and rive plate... (I clearly can not be rationalized with here as I am heavily blinded by being born with the river plate jersey)

lol what did he do? i try and not follow it too closely for multiple reasons, heart ache being one of them...

 

He came in late with a challenge and stomped down on Origi's ankle. No remorse, no appology. Just complained that he was shown red. He deserved it. Origi carted of on a stretcher. That's going to be a blow for Liverpool. I hope it's not as bad as it looked.

 

I agree blatant fouls have no place in sports... (almost no place)
But come on the being carted away is not exactly proof these boys love using the pulled off the field trick!!!

I agree. If you manage to see the injury you'll see that the stretcher was necessary. Ref signaled for it fairly quickly.

 

Not watching the game, but saw something on Twitter about possibly a broken ankle?!
