Correct. But people tend to get new shocks with lift spring. Not so much with blocks since they are being cheap to begin with

well not always, as i have seen people on here forget that.
again not saying its the best way to do anything, its a "way" to do it and do it cheap. you could measure how much thread is left on your stock ubolts and make a quick spacer for that to give you some height. same goes with a longer shackle.

shocks are one of those things that no matter what you do you need.

myself i bought springs, shocks, custom mounts bla bla, but not everybody has money to spend and lift blocks are a great stopgap

Feel awesome to me I have no complaints. I'm averaging close to 18 with probably 80% highway. You could get very close to 20 on the highway if it was flat and going 65.

Depending on what your in town driving is like I would expect like 16 at best if no highway.

This is all on summer gas too.

Cleaned it today. But also had something a bit funky happen. It cold started perfectly normal, and I let it run for a few seconds before I moved it to wash it. Shut it off when it was still on cold idle, and went to start it again like 10 seconds later because I needed to use it for something and it didn't want to start. It would crank but seems like only 1 cylinder was trying to fire. Let it sit for a minute and came back to try again, did the same thing but with my foot to the floor it started and then ran fine. It's been starting fine since then, just wondering what may have caused it. Any insight? Same thing happened to my rav4 but never figured out why.

Every time I've had this problem on other vehicles is was something to do with the intake, either MAF, MAP, or temp sensor. My buddy's Elantra did it and I did the same thing. Foot to the floor with the MAP sensor and intake temp unplugged and it came to life.

Also curious to hear opinions- my truck did this to me not that long ago. I started it and was entering an address in my gps when I realized I had left my coffee and lunch on the table. So I shut it off, grabbed my stuff and then it didn't want to start again. I let it sit a few minutes and then it started like normal. :notsure:

I am looking for a way to mount my Kenwood TM-71a faceplate. I would like to use the cubby below the single din radio. I can't use the ash tray area as my CB is already there.

Do you have a plate that will do that?

Did a compression test for the hell of it. Not really amazed by the numbers. Ranged from 150 to 175. Not bad I guess for 183k miles. I think my gauge might be off though.
