Rear sway bar

My truck corners like a stage coach! I need a rear sway bar and all the mounting parts....I hope it will help.
I drive a stock 2002 Tacoma Prerunner, 2 wheel drive, extended cab. This is a street driver with stock suspension. If you have one at a price I can afford, I will pay by PayPal.
I also have a new, in the box Rough Country lift kit I can trade. Atlanta, GA location.

 

Don't tacomas not have a rear sway bar??

 

No rear sway bars for Tacomas. You'll have to make something custom or buy some stiffer rear shocks/springs.

 

Maybe but not mine. The previous owner might have removed it.

 

There are kits available! Pricey.....my wife calls my truck the "Money Pit" already.

 

I put a Hellwig rear bar on my 03 and it made a world of difference! Its a bit of a puzzle at first but really not that difficult to install. Id show a pic but its @ the body shop for a spring refresh!

Drives like a boat. Lots of body roll.

 

Huge improvement once installed. Feels much better coming around the corner at the same speeds prior. I haven't taken my offroad but others have said you'll want to disconnect if you plan on doing some serious trails, light trail should be fine.

 

Is that with or without the sway bar?

 

No sway bar, the first gen did not Have a rear bar from the factory. I also removed the front bar.

 

Still looking for a rear sway bar with mounting hardware!

Patients. Customtacos is kind of a slow forum; not as active as TW. I personally only check it once a week at best.
