Why does the truck in the original post look so much wider? Is there spacers on it as well?

Having less offset gives the wheel a wider stance. Factory offset is around +30mm (depending on the wheels). Some of these wheels have -25 mm offset. That will stick out quite a bit.

Okay! I've been running the FN 5 Star 16" 4.5 back spacing for a while now but the TRD center caps will not sit flush. Everyone says not mod, just pop them in but the from center hub sits just about flush to the front of the center hub of my wheel. Looks like I need .5 inch spacers to run the TRD center caps. Anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks for posting this. This is one of clearest views of how much the tires stick out. With these same tires, how would this translate to a gen 1. Would this same setup stick out more, or less? I'm trying to decide between 0 offset or -25mm 16x8 for a Gen 1 4x4 with 265/75/16.

How much lift do you have and what all modifications did you have to make to fit these tires?

I'd be willing to bet those are the 0 offset.

i have a 3" lift (strut spacers-front, air bags-rear) i did nothing to the rear, for the front, i had to do a cab mount chop and trimmed the inner fender lining because it rubbed like crazy...after i trimmed i used zip ties to secure any sections of lining that liked to flap around in the wind on the highway...sounds pretty hokey, but it worked lol

Was the trimming at the front or rear of the time? So if I had a bumper would that be enough trimming or would I have to trim still?

Thanks, and not with stock tires. It did hit the mini front flaps on full lock though, but other than that no rubbing under normal conditions.

I wonder if safe to assume they will fit 16''s as well...

@MakoTacoma , When I picked my five stars up from Dustin, he showed me the caps. They way the center of the wheel is designed, the TRD caps won't snap in. They will fit on the center caps. But the center caps are fugly imo, which is why very few people have them on.
