sorry, didn't do a good job putting a scale reference in there... it's fairly small, ..longest dimension approx. 9"... put a small hole in the back so it can be simply hung on the wall..

Stuff and things that make it better.
Started building a swing set using an old lift chair from a local ski resort. Need some more metal to finish it.

I turned the wood part on my lathe and installed a stylus tip to this 50 cal bottle opener twist pen kit.

Nothing fancy, but I resurfaced the picnic table after work tonight. The previous top and seats lasted almost 10 years but were starting to get tender. Legs and supports are still rock solid and I used coated decking hardware so I'm only $20 into replacement lumber, lol. Tomorrow evening I'll finish sanding it, wind the Thompson's to it and call it good.

So as my profile notes, I am a Canadian Taco owner .... and up here in the Great White North, we drink a lot of brew on a hot summers day at the Lake ... so what better than to have your own branded beer drinking chair eh ! ...... So I built myself this Adirondak chair with foot stool in my Man Cave (shop), downloaded the graphics from the web, converted the graphics to a template and then spent about 20 hours of hand painting two coats of colour and then applied the gold pin-stripping around the letters ..... at the end of a day fishing, I now backup the Taco next to the cottage, drop the tailgate and position the chair facing the lake to enjoy a cold one or two ....... my next project may be a 'YuengLing' Lager branded chair for my American friends ....IMG_3388.jpg IMG_3382.jpg IMG_2422.jpg

I made one similar to that... I made a poor man's anvil and base last night. I bought a piece of rail road tie that was already shaped like an anvil and had four holes drilled in the bottom, I bolted it to some leftover 2x6 layered beam I got from worksite last summer, then I attatched 4 4x4 legs. I'll post a pic later :)

...final touches on mother's day gift, ...last minute as usual!

...my first attempt at anything kitchen related, ...although i'd imagine it would double as a nice little "persuader" to keep everyone in-line! :D
