    It's a matter of leverage. A wheel with offset still bolts on against the hub. The spacer pushes the mounting point further out creating more leverage against the hub.

    Wrong. The wheel is X inches long. You are moving the fulcrum based on the flange. Doesn't matter if that 0 offset is built into the wheel or 1.25" offset with a 1.25" spacer.

    Here are some numbers for the OCD inclined:

    6cyl DCSB auto -> total weight = 4220

    4cyl 4x4 manual -> truck weight 4030, sliders CBI 180, skids pelfrey 181
    Total weight = 4391

    So, we know the 6cyl DCSB auto usually gets 3" with 887s. Overall, my 4cyl with skids and sliders is actually heavier. Correct me if my numbers are wrong. I know the weight is not all up front, but I am thinking I will def. get 3 inches and no more.

    Almost all the weight is up front... The double cab CAB doesn't weigh much more than the access cab CAB... Its the engine that has the most weight

    Thats also why stock the 4cylinder and v6 front suspension is valved differently and pne has billies and the other has some toyota junk

    So your prediction is that I will be above 3 inches then? Not sure that will happen. Plenty of 4 banger access guys have lost half inch on 885s from adding sliders and skids qhen they wherw at 3 inches prior. That's more than the added length of an 887.

    Either way, if I am above three then I have excuse to buy a bumper.. Lol

    ALSO FOR THOSE THAT LIVE WHERE THEY SALT THE ROADS CHECK YOUR CAMBER ADJUSTMENT BOLTS. THEY ARE PROBABLY SEIZED... YOULL NEED TO GET NEW BUSHINGS AND CUT THE OLD SHUT OUT... ITLL BE FUNNNNN. Im buying used LCAs that are still good

    Not predicting... Another local member had the exact same truck with the exact same setup you and I are getting... He needed UCAs but sold the truck to get a different tacoma instead

    So I'm going to regret asking this as I'm usually someone who will say "this has been asked 10,000 times noob" but I've gone retarded and can't seem to find it in this thread (we are talking "I took the big girl with the butterfly tattoo on her back fat home from the bar regret). Anyway . . .

    Driver's side trim packer: I'm assuming just go ahead and install it so I don't have a lean to the drivers side correct? I remember something about since ARB is designed in Australia for RHD, it's built for a bit more weight on the right side and the trim packer fixes it. Someone tell me I'm right and not insane please.

    Depending on how old the truck is, new bushings might not be required. Though polys are a good investment.
