Meh, if the TRDPro wheels are $350 up here but $165 in the states I don't even need it to be close to par to make it worth it.

It's also hella cheaper to get them mounted and balanced in the states as well. I'll do it when I'm due to replace the tires and get everything done in WA. Save a few bucks and go catch a Mariners game!

I'm in Edmonton too and going to pull the trigger later this year on a Tacoma. I want the TRD pro wheels. Which dealer did you go to and for what price if you don't mind me asking.

Wondering if any of the Tacomas ( automatics with towing package) sold in Canada have issues with their trannys not being properly filled with the correct amount of tranny fluid?

Had them check mine but it had the correct amount. I don't know if I have the towing package. To be honest, I can't even find the towing package on the site when building. I have the SR5 Double Cab 4x4.

Transmission cooler comes on the TRD models, it is not on the Toyota Canada website. I just checked mine to make sure it actually has one. I'll be taking mine in next week to have it check and let you know how that goes

Is there a wiring harness for a brake controller included in the tacomas? I Thought I had one but it was just the cap for the tail gate wiring for when you take it off.

Oh and has anyone ordered the weathertech floor mats in Canada? Mine have said shipping documents received for the last 4days. I have a tracking number but nothing has changed. I presume I am going to come home one day and they will be sitting at my door.

No there isn't. You have to buy it with your brake controller.

Had my fronts for months now. I'm surprised that there are supply issues now, but who knows?

yeah, no idea, they probably got shipped and the tracking hasn't been updated. I'm occupied with trying to figure out how to adjust the headlights up a smidge.

Yup! Not sure if they close the gate at a certain time or not though?

I get my Wrangler Duratrac's put on tomorrow, then camping trip up past Squam for the weekend, but can't wait to take it out to play :D

Also, can anybody comment on their average total L/100km for typical Vancouver city driving?

Mine finally seems to be getting better, sitting at 13.8 I believe. My last good drive tonight from Deep Cove to New West I averaged 11.7 for the trip which I think is fantastic considering my cars total average was around 10.3

I'm averaging 13.2L/100k on the stock truck with BFGko2 265/70/R17, I'm expecting it to decrease to about 12l/100km as I break the truck in. Without the tires I would expect to get 11-12l/100kms

I can't say about Vancouver but around here I can get around 13-14 in town here in Newfoundland. It's very hilly. But I did drive across the island recently and got 10.5 on a 330 km trip driving around 110-115 km/h with my winters on. I did notice lots of shifting, but with gas mileage like that on a truck, I could care less if it shifts down to 4th to go up a hill, or between 5 & 6 regularly.

Canada or not, they are all built in either Mexico or Texas, both have had the reported fluid level issues. Mine in Canada was 1L low. They checked and topped it up for free under warranty. Feels much nicer after.

I believe all Canadian 4x4s come standard with the "Tow package" which makes it not necessarily a "package" in Canada as opposed to the US

5 tanks in now and I've averaged out at 12.6 (by Fuelly not by dash gauge) with 265/70/17 Duratracs. probably a 60/40 City/Highway split.
