We broke it up into 2 days which i would strongly reccomend. There a few technical spots on 600-2 and 600-1 def taking our time and eating lunch drinking beer the American way

    Me too! But......

My slave cylinder just quit on me. I have almost a 100,000 miles on this clutch. I use wondering if anyone has the tools needed and know how to replace it. If I can get the parts by this weekend, can anybody help out. I've never done a clutch replacement.

Good news is I find the leak in the rear diff. and fixed it. Thanks mike for the info and offer to help on it

I don't personally know how to do a clutch in a 4x4 Tacoma, but we had to drop the tranny in my prerunner when @BamaToy1997 did mine. I would assume transfer case and tranny have to come out. That's the worst part as far as I noticed.

I'd be happy to help, but this weekend would be a no go for me.

I changed a slave cylinder on a 88 Honda Prelude 20 years ago with nothing more than a simple ratchet set and basic tools. The bitch on it was 2 screws 1 click at a time with a rachet and my hand jammed in a tiny area on the front of the car.

    Haven't done a clutch.

Yea, in still kicking. Working for a towing company with one day off during the week. I can definitely help with the clutch, but j would have to take a day off to help. Maybe take a weekend and we can plan a small ride as well

One of the bolts near the top was loose. Took 4 turns to tighten. Crazy

I'm camping on Mt. Cheaha this weekend. Thinking about hitting the Talladega dirt track Saturday night. Any pointers? I've been to the big race track twice and we're coming over for our third Indycar race.
