Right now I have 2.5 camburg coilovers and I wanted to check the pressure of the nitrogen in the shock. I took my truck to a shop and they said if they checked them that it would automatically let all the pressure out and that it would be 25 bones a piece to get them re-charged. Does this sound right? Any recommendation where to take them, certain off road shops or tire shops. FYI im in phoenix if anyone knows of a place local.
    Thanks

Try a motorcycle shop. Not sure where you are, but there are some good shops throughout the valley.

Thanks Chris! Does that sound right though, 25 a shock and if they check them, they will automatically loose their charge? I live by I-10 and warner rd. if you had any recommendation around there. Thanks again

Crap....Not sure what ya got over there. Sounds about right though. Most places discharge them, then re charge to the correct psi. $25.00 seems kinda high, but not out of line.

    they just want your money...

its just like checking the air pressure in a tire... if the pressure all came out, there would be no pressure to measure...

i used to take my truck to Donahoe back in the day for pressure checks and it took all of 30 seconds to check... they recharged them as needed and never charged me a penny...

if you decide to go with that shop though, make sure they aren't recharging them with air...

X2. I have heard of that before, but the places I have used, discharged, then refilled to the correct psi.

You may want to try Kelly's Kawasaki. I think they are off of the 60, near Country club..
