    You can try a set of channel locks, 90* needle nose pliers, or a regular set of pliers...anything you can get in there and turn...put the jaws straight on so they engage with the sides of the ridges (you're not really gripping anything, you're basically using them like a key), and turn carefully. Not really sure how to explain it any clearer. Just woke up so I'm not really firing on all cylinders yet. :pccoffee:

    It's the crank seal and pissed out all the oil overnight. It's getting swapped out Friday. Almost started the truck and blew the engine up.

    In between screwing around procrastinating I actually got a lot of stuff done today. Got the switch powers and grounds wired up to the fuse block, ran a ground wire from the fuse block's ground bus to the firewall/engine ground, located and tied into a dash light wire (I got lucky and found one in the factory radio harness), and finally, I fabbed and painted my relay mount. :sawzall:

    Need to take a trip to HD for more wire tie cleats and small tie-wraps. Might do that tonight and then tomorrow I can start getting the relays wired up. After that, the switches will be all that's left.

    I'm seriously reconsidering doing the switches the way Todd did. Seems better to only have to unplug 9 wires instead of 24 if I wanted to take the thing out for any reason.

    That's not so much a problem. Most of them are interchangable, with only the relay signal wires having to be in a specific place...and that will still be an issue with Todd's setup as well. :thumbsup:

    After several days of screwing around, I'm pleased to say that the under-hood portion of my aux fuse panel/accessory switches & relays project is complete...for now. :yay: It didn't come out as clean (especially in that back corner) as some folks can achieve around here, but considering I hate wiring, I can live with it. o_O

    Yeah it sucks but it needs to happen. I sold the civic and now this is for sale. I think the price is fair and if the person has a welder friend I'll give them the unfinished bumper so I don't have a giant paper weight.

    Unfortunately, no. That's why I heat-shrinked all the connections and I'm going to put fuses in all the slots and see how it works. If I have problems then I'll either redo it with one of those Blue Sea blocks or I'll think about fabbing a cover for it myself. I don't think it gets too wet and muddy up that high and that far back anyway.
