I've got 56 people ignored from posts they've made in 3rd gen. That's the first step in solving 3rd gen issues.

Only 600 miles, but so far so good. I had trans filled before I bought it, but I sometimes have a hesitation from R to D. not a big deal to me so far.

2500 Miles.... I get around 20MPG mixed driving and traffic... how you drive it seems to really matter. Transmission shifts a bit, but I think that's just the way it was designed (to keep you in as high a gear as possible and lower rpms). Overall, I'm pretty happy so far, it's comfy, it's got plenty of power, 4X4 works, radio works and plays plenty loud, no buzzing or howling.... I do think the exhaust is a tad on the loud side for stock, but it's not like 2 chamber flowmasters or something.

Again, I'm pretty happy with it so far.

My only issue is since i have replaced the headlights with HIDs, going over some rough roads, the lights have a wiggle to them almost as if they are loose. I have tried playing around with the rubber washer but they are all tight.

    8000+ miles so far

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Love my 2016 Tacoma TRD off-road so much that I decide not to bitch about every little thing. Transmission is great! Great fuel economy, no wind noise, no hood vib. Ujoints were greased, ubolts were tourqed correctly, radio doesn't reset itself. Hell even the driver side rear license plate light holds a little water! Unfortunately the dealer is going to fix that little hiccup, and the speedo needle acts up when it's above 80 degrees outside. Other then those two small issues my majestic unicorn is AMAZING :)

Your radio doesn't rest and you get no good vibrations.

500 miles...the only concern is the sluggish accel. when city driving.

So I thought this was a thread for people to post without issues but it seems 90% have SOME type of issue. Some are just more vocal than others

    None... sigh
No matter what, you're always going to find a fault in something. I hands down love my truck, I'll admit that I wasn't thrilled about blue, but it's my 6 year old's favorite color so I got blue. Only issue I had was a loose bolt holding on an exhaust hanger that would make a tremendous noise. Besides that, absolutely perfect.

If you honestly think that this remodel was going to come out with no issues at all you're out of your mind. Every car idc what it is has something going on with it. I owned all 3 generation tacomas and each had there own set of issues but has still been the most reliable and functional truck I've ever owned. No one is denying the issues but I remember when I had my 05 and I heard all this same bullshit for the 4.0. It just gets old dude and if you really think it's the worse truck go get something else. I'm sorry about your luck and if you got a lemon sorry but you shouldn't have bought the first year after being redesigned. This truck overall is a beast.
