New rod should be here tomorrow. Engine has been getting machine and head rebuilt while waiting. Hopefully it will be done end of next week. The guy building it builds race engines and it is racing season so I'm not a huge priority to him. I can't wait to get it back.

Is that crack in a sprayed on rubber-like coating or is that steel ?

I'd poke at that with a screwdriver to make sure

I would look at mine but I already have 5100s installed

If I run spindles can I fit 285's w/aftermarket wheels without having to cut, trim , cmc, etc...?

Also if I go with all pro leaf pack for rear lift, what will I need other than 5100s?will I need new extended brake lines?

Last, I've read about some people needing driveshaft spacers, what causes someone to need a driveshaft spacer?

Thanks for any help, trying to decide between spindle/all pro lift or a milder lift like 5100's/eibach coils/ 265s.. I don't off road but want the look.

    1) you should be fine with spindles & 285's. Spindles lift 4" I cleared 285's with my original 3" lift.

2)I would suggest brake lines just to be safe, with All Pros depending on which ones you get you'll be lifting the rear 3" or 4".

3)when you lift the rear it pulls the drive shaft out of the transmission. Best thing to do is lift it & see how much it pulls out, when my rear was lifted 2" it pulled out about .5" & that was of with me.

    Thanks for the reply!

Did the driveshaft pull out because you lifted the front higher than the back, changing the angle?

If I lifted both the front and back 4" would I have to worry about the driveshaft?
