^^ Great advice right there.. ^^

I actually went with the SPC UCA's myself.. My truck is my daily driver and have no intentions of beating the hell out of it, so I figured the SPC's would fit my needs.. My truck sees about 80% pavement and about 20% dirt and mud.. I like the idea of having more adjustability with low maintenance..

OP, whatever you end up going with, be sure to contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road for your needs.. I've had nothing but a great experience with them.. She answered all my "noob" questions as simple as possible and provided a smooth transaction..:thumbsup:

Will uniball UCA's allow for additional camber adjustments?

All the uniball offerings i have seen are a fixed setup. Meaning they will provide ~ 1.5-2* extra caster but you can not adjust how much extra caster you get.

The ONLY uniball offering i have seen that deviates from that is the super high end fancy ones that have heim joints on the frame connection side where you could technically maybe cheat the upper ball joint forward or backwards, but it shouldnt really be done that way, as you would be increasing the mounting distance between the heim joints which would cause binding issues.

FYI my good buddy has had his Total Chaos uniball uppers (with standard bushing style frame mounting) without issue and he wheels his truck hard. Full 2.5in rem resi kings etc. Hes around 3in of lift and has no issues getting decent caster / camber numbers.

So it really comes down to how you are going to use the truck.

I don't wheel that hard. It's just that my front wheels are \ / or too much pos camber. I'm only at 1.75" lift in the front. The alignment shops can't do much with OEM control arms. Looks like the LR UCA's are the answer, but how do they keep the top tabs in place? Looks like just by friction or clamping force of the top bolts. Will they get knocked out of alignment easily?

Yes they are held in place by clamping forces... but at 150-200 ftlbs, it would be hard to knock em out of place.

What i would do is set them to the center (logo facing straight out) / +2* caster setting and slide them ALL the way outward. That away if you do knock em loose from a BIG hit, its easy to put back in place.

Like stated i wheeled mine pretty good this weekend and nothing moved.
