    @MuricaTaco
    My truck and I thank you for the Doritos, LOL!!! THAT was AWESOME bro!!! :drool::thumbsup::fistbump:

    Let me know when you want to do the antenna mount, whether on the side of the bed or the middle of the truck bed!!! Either way, I will have to re-terminate the coax cable and/or terminate the coax cable coming FROM your cab TO the antenna!!! That job will be much easier as a whole (i.e. don't really have to take any paneling apart, LOL!!! What I HIGHLY recommend to get:

    1) The antenna that "I" like is the "4ft Francis CB-24 Hot Rod Antenna". Very light weight antenna AND has a good SWR "out of box"!!! Your SWR should be 1.5 or less!!! I have verified their claims as such!!! :thumbsup: This is my goto antenna when I'm on the trails. I had this as my antenna out in Anza.

    2) Get the Firestik bracket and lug/bolt as a set... you're gonna need the lug/bolt assembly anyways so you might as well get the bracket too!!! OR, like I said, I already have an L-bracket at my sisters place. I can bring that one down? Let me know, okay!!! Either way, the set is p/n: Firestik K-64A (this is the L-bracket and lug/bolt assembly set)

    NOTE: PLEASE read line #2 above!!! The Firestik lug/bolt assembly by itself is p/n: Firestik K-4A (this is the lug/bolt assembly only)

    3) I HIGHLY recommend that you go ahead and get the heavy duty antenna spring because, IF you want, you can mount a 5ft antenna to it. It is p/n: Firestik SS-3H (Heavy Duty Spring)

    Here is an example of the Firestik K-64A from e-Bay. The seller is in CA and has 100% feedback!!! :thumbsup: Kinda hard to really get it any closer and cheaper in price!!! :thumbsup:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIRESTIK-K-...em234efa763b:g:4t8AAOSwBLlVLDPF#ht_202wt_1124

    Btw, the bag is almost empty , LOL!!! :hungry:

    Nick, throw the Baofeng on the charger so that to make sure it has a full charge before going to Idyllwild!!! The battery indicator says full, but just throw it on anyways!!! Just give it back the next time we meet... I have a few more radios anyways, LOL!!!

    Happy Wheel'n to ALL and be safe!!!

    Unfortunately, brokerunner is still a thing and unlikely to make that surprise. That was the initial plan that I was pushing for but hit way too many road blocks.

    Nick is really pushing for me to find a way to show up to this one though :notsure:
