    But we have recently found out that you can run the Wheelers 2nd gen LCA bumps that give a bit more cushion than the stock ones

    I wouldn't call it an "advantage" but you can keep your stock UCA

    No, compression is not the issue. The extra extension is what causes an issue. If anything, a limit strap might be helpful.

    FWIW, I have read King documentation that says it is a 1/2" difference in travel. I have no way of verifying this.

    Think of it this way...with "extended travel" it allows your LCA to flex down further allowing your front tire to still have contact with the ground when your suspension is flexed or articulation so you actually can maintain 4wheel drive over an obstacle instead of 3wheel drive :D

    Thanks! Will be getting a new UCA anyway when I go to coilovers which is next on the list. Guess I'll go with the extended travel ones!

    I noticed on down south motorsports they sell a "extended travel oem King shock" but it is the same part # as the regular ones???

    Look at Wheelers Offroad, they also give the ability to buy with a 700lb spring if your thinking of bumper/winch....etc

    It really depends on how much weight you hang off your front I guess. :notsure:

    I love my setup. I wore out a set of 650 lb Eibach coils on my previous setup. The 700s have been a great solution for me.

    Sweet!!!! I love my AllPro and as stated ^ some may think the 700lbs spring is overkill.....I love mine it keeps me from having to crank down my collars to keep my lift where I want it! and still rides smooth

    Throw a winch and a dual battery setup...them things will soften out nicely, but still ride good just will have to break out the spanner wrench. I had the 650s to before now made the 700 switch

    They started to sag around 30K. Ended up having to put more and more preload into them to maintain height. Still flexed great but by then it was time for a rebuild so I got extended Kings with 700 lb coils instead. :D
