Anyone can pull a chart up and highlight the short term performance that fits your narrative. Why don't you pull up a chart of MO vs GDXJ and GDX and tell me why my investments don't make any sense? In order to have made money on the miners you'd have to have sat out that market and have the foresight to buy it in the last 6 months. Are you telling us you're that smart? That somehow you managed to avoid that sector for 10 years and miraculously picked the right time to buy it to capture the rise? I doubt it. These two stocks have horrendous long term charts and relative performance.

    More white lies...........
I never said to own PMs for 10 years I'm saying get PMs now........
It's all the chart you print.........
Go back 10 years and Gold out performs Altria Group and GDX.......
I'm showing options for people that don't want to get physical PMs...........
I never said your trades are bad, you keep saying that, I said you have some very good trades but you are being a jack wagon and missing out on PMs...... Tooooo bad for you.........
You also keep saying don't buy PMs and your wrong and trolling........

It's all timing and if you invest you would know that........
This is the first time I have said to look at going long on PMs stocks because it looks like PMs are going bullish........
    Gold 98% Altria -12% GDX -41% 10 yr chart
You din't even beat my crapy 401K with Altria over the last 10 years.....
This is the perfect example of why buy and hold is a stupid investment strategy......
You need to know the cycles of your investment and go long or short accordingly...........

And I said PMs bottomed in December and so far I'm right on............
So take advantage of the free information............
Get rid of your trades you don't like while we are at the top and look for better opportunities..............
Low down side risk and lots of up side gain.......... Risk vs reward.......... Low risk, high reward........

Here this is what I'm trying to teach you...
By holding the same trade for 10 years you made negative gains...
By making only 1 trade you could have made 330%
You could of held gold for 5yrs and Altria for the next 5yrs and made 330%
or 98% holding gold or -12 holding Altria
Even if you miss the top you still could have made 200% + compared to -12...........
It's all knowing the cycles of your trades and I know PMs................
and everyone can see PMs are moving..........

and so far this year looks like you're are behind the 8 ball and might have missed a great transition point.......
But you don't have to nail the top or bottom just get close....
And we are real close right now...............

    GDX up 64% GOLD 16% Altria 4%
    I bought in during January..........

You can see in the chart that silver has broken the downward trend and is started to trend up....

Our next points of resistance look like 22-23 dollar range and 33 dollars..............

When we clear $33 hold on silver will start to go crazy...........

So let me get this right so we can see if this makes any sense. You've been investing in PMs for years but somehow you're only saying to buy now. That means you've steered clear of PMs this whole time an miraculously nailed the low in the market after 10 years right?

PS your analysis of Altria fails to take into account that they spun off their international business under the ticker "PM" so let's do apples to apples here before you thump your chest.

Actually not a good chart here. If this was true the first trend line broke and failed right? You can't just draw another line and keep hoping that's not how technical analysis works. Are you sure you aren't charting? TA takes into account, Stochastics, MACD, RSI, several different ratios and various other indicators. And again resistance definitely isn't marked 50% than where it is today. That's like me telling you Tesla will sell a ton a Model 3s in tomorrows paper.

    Yes and no
First this is a PMs thread so post about investing in PMs so stop being an ass and add to the conversation or don't post...........

    Second
I first really learned about PMs about 8 years ago and started buying small amounts physical about 6 years ago to diversify and get exposure to PMs...
After the PMs smack down I reevaluated my decisions and realized PMs are even a better trade.....
The lower the price went the more I bought, I buy when things are on sale and PMs are on sale......
I tried to buy stocks a couple times and got pushed out.......
Physical and stocks are 2 different trades and 2 different reasons......
And luckily we figured out a few tricks to buying physical and what coins to buy so in a down market our physical coins can appreciate 100-200% with very little or no extra premium......
If you look back at my post I have been saying not to go long PMs stocks.......
Only recently I've said to go long because the downside risk is almost 0 and looks like the bottom is in........
SO yes I have been sitting on cash waiting for a good buy in point, I had some small positions and just added to those positions in January and February....
I have been buying physical on every dip for 3 years.....
Another lesson in PMs is the price of coins only goes down so far, so at a certain point they just raise the premiums so an eagle has been selling for around $19 for almost 2 years.... So the buy in point doesn't really matter you will just pay more or less premium, this is one of the tricks we learned...... But sometimes prices will drop than you buy extra that month...
We also learned that when APMEX is short on coins they blow out premium coins to keep the turn over high, they are a volume store not an investing store....
And almost every Sunday night during the weekly smack down their computers would lower all the silver prices before they came in on Monday and raised them back up....... I think they figured out this glitch and turned it off.... We were saving up to $2 dollars a coin for a long time.........
So we used to only order on Sunday nights......
WE also buy the best value coins for that month, we have a list of coins we like and we search and watch the prices as they go up and down and only buy the best value coins for that month, that also helped save a lot of money = more coins....
Some coins sell out fast so we learned you have to up your buying when they are at low premiums and don't procrastinate.......
I also learned how to anticipate drops in silver price by charting, looking back it's easy to see all the drops after every rise they smack the price down, so timing is also important... This time things look different but I'm ready if the smack the price down again.....
So I have learned a lot about buying PMs over the last 6 years.......
When you have money invested in something you learn a lot about it........
So every thing I post I have learned first hand.......

These are some tips for buying silver........

This chart shows the 2 trend lines showing that silvers downward trend was slowing and has now turned up....
The only real line of resistance is $33 but $22 may be the first big test....
There could be a case for resistance at $19 but I feel if we clear 18 we will run up to the $22 dollar range....
But because silver was being smacked down we have no real lines of resistance......
Our next points of resistance look like 22-23 dollar range and 33 dollars..............

When we clear $33 hold on silver will start to go crazy...........

This charting is only for trading information....

For physical none of this applies, just keep buying your monthly allocation......
Buy as much as you can below $25 don't lets this opportunity pass..................

Try to build your stack now while prices are crazy low.....
If the price goes up from here time is running out and silver is breaking out......
If the price drops that will get us another 6-12 months of stacking at cheap prices...........

Cute, I point out your flaws when speaking of PMs and all you can say is this is a PM thread? Hahahahaha

You sir are a liar! And we all know it, why do you think you're the only one who believes all your bulls!t? Take a look around son and review the prior charts I posted, you just might learn something and make enough money to move out of your Mom's basement....

    Another great vid about inflation.......
I feel we will some inflation not this bad....
But learning how countries react to high inflation will let us know what to expect from our gov during high inflation.......

A good take away from that vid is that the market could and will go up during the devaluation of the dollar.........
I believe the market will fall but at some point they will justify pushing it higher or they will cover up the falling dollar and push it higher...
Some believe when the market falls it will stay down and it could trade sideways for awhile but, I think it will spring up and higher than ever, I don't think the will let it stay down....
Here is what happened during the last devaluation, lots of sideways action and then it took off..........
Google doesn't go back to 73.... I'll have to look for a better chart....

    Here's a better chart.......
The dollar was devalued in 1972-1973 and this is what happened to the stock market........
So the market tanked for 2 years....
    rebounded and then went sideways....
And about 10 years later took off..........
But they didn't use QE4ever or ZIRP or NIRP back in those days.........

    upload_2016-4-28_0-29-15.jpg

But this is how the last 2 crashes look......
    Down and right back up..........
Unless we go back to real money all crashes we be followed by a huge bull run.....
