They brought in 5 gallon buckets of epoxy and clear coat. Not sure what kind it was but it was not like a kit that you can buy at Home Depot. I'll post some more pics/vids if I can find them

Sherwin Williams owns a company called General Polymers.

www.Tnemec.com is a family owned company out of KCMO.

There should also be resinous floor/ decorative concrete supply houses in your area that supply some "off-the-shelf" resins.

There are a few types, epoxy being the most common due to its relatively forgiving nature (compared to polyurea, polyaspartics and MMA).

Putting a urethane topcoat will greatly increase the chemical and abrasion resistance. These materials (urethanes/epoxies) are used as immersion service linings for fuel and chemical tanks all over the world. A few gallons of gas or oil is no issue as long as it is cleaned up relatively quick.

I'd love to do this but I would destroy anything I put down. Between cutting, welding, jacking, road salt, dragging stuff. I was thinking of painting it but I'm sure it would lift.....

I was wondering about road salt, as well. That's the big challenge in central Ontario where I live. It looks beautiful, and tough. I'm surprised that it doesn't stand up to jack stands and wear and tear though. I'm not sure that a garage floor that I have to baby is for me. Stuff has to be functional to be good, looks aren't enough in the long run.

If you are concerned about serious abuse or salt, I recommend a urethane modified cement. Can give a similar aesthetic as solid color epoxy floors, goes down a bit differently but not too bad.

This stuff is basically 12k psi compressive strength chemical resistant concrete. Can get it in a number of different colors.

Available from a bunch of different manufacturers - here is an example. http://www.tnemec.com/product/view/Series-245-UltraTreadS

That is a good looking operation you have going on there. I checked out your website, love it! Got any more pics of your rigs in the garage?

One thing to remember - it's resists fluids - including water. Slicker than snot when wet (be careful walking on it). I've noticed it takes forever for water to evaporate - stays wet most of the time in the summer (here in TX) in one area because of A/C on vehicle.

Assuming you have a parking mark you hit every time, put a shallow pan in the condensate drip area. Make a tic mark on the floor, so when you move it for other activities you can replace it in the same spot.

That is a great idea! I have a parking spot laser point so that should work.
