Prerunner 2wd to 4wd

Automatic 4x4 fj, here i come

 

Hmmm... While im changing tranny's, should i go agead and pick up a manual 4wd if i can find one? Manual tranny is something else id like

sweet a prerunner 4wd swap

 

so here we go to start off with you will need a 4wd trans from a 4.0 motor , then a fj tcase , then a front diff from a tacoma ,fj, or a 4runner 4.0 , front and rear drive shafts from a tacoma like yous but 4wd, front spindles and bearings, also front cv , from a tacoma, fj,or 4runner and you will also need to call RST for a ADD switch to make the front diff go in and out of 4wd . asfor as going manual i wouldn't its better to be auto when wheeling unless you want to spend moreon a crawler box

The spindles are the same, all you need for them is the 4x4 hubs and CV dust seals.

 

true but you can never have enough of them lol they bend to easy lol
