Looks great. How much time and effort? Took the wheels off I assume?

I had a bit of rubbing at the edges, and used the heat gun lightly to soften the edge and push it back... Worked like a charm and no more rubbing

I know you guys talk about fuel mileage a lot and some even rely on the trip computer, which is a good guide but not always accurate, so I've formulated how to properly calculate fuel mileage using the actual reading at the pump. You can still use this formula with the trip computer, but I don't think any of them are accurate, particularly with bigger tires.

Tire size in relationship to fuel mileage. Circumference=3.14XDiameter.
So if we take the OE G/Y Adventure All Terrain 265/70R16 with a diameter of 30.6 inches,
and a circumference of 96.084 inches. For a base line, we can formulate from there.
You will always divide your tire circumference by the baseline tire circumference to get
the correct percentage of change. You then take that percentage X fuel mileage for
corrected mileage. My example will use 20 MPG for instance:

    BFG A/T LT265/75R16=31.6 inch diameter when formulated=99.224/96.084=1.033 X 20(said MPG)=20.66 corrected MPG

    BFG A/T LT275/70R17=32.2 inch diameter when formulated=101.11/96.84=1.052 X 20(said MPG)=21.04 corrected MPG

    Cooper Stt Pro
    My tire: LT285/70R17=33.03 inch diameter when formulated=103.714/96.84=1.08 X 20(said MPG)=21.6 corrected MPG

You can use this formula for any tire size as long as you know the true diamer (not what it says on the sidewall)
and keep in mind there are always variables such as tire pressure, i.e., a tire with more air in it will have a slightly
larger circumference than one with lower air pressure. There's probably a calculator for this but I was bored!

I dipped my also, but I did mine on the vehicle. I taped up the tire its self, like you would any other paint job and put a garbage bag in behind to keep it off the calipers and drums and had rubber caps I stuck on the Lugnuts, I have pics in my album if you want to see them

Not much. Took most of the day, 6 coats each. Most of the work was cleaning prep (had a left over bottle of "pre dip spray" from another set I did years ago) and did the plastic bag trick and masked what that didn't cover. I've done both in the past, wheels on and wheels off- for me, wheels on is much easier and comes out just as good. Actual paint, you'd want tires and wheels off.

Plenty of room, with the new gen3 there is about twice as much room to get your hand down there compared to the gen2. I took the truck out the range the other day and did a little shooting out the passenger window and drivers window without any problems.

Hello tacomaworld forum.. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing this problem. the top of my front grill seems to be warping. I'm 100% percent sure I haven't hit anything and there is no scratches, bumps, dents anywhere else showing someone hit my car without me knowing. Btw: when I plastidipped the grille I did it without taking out the entire grill so it couldn't be from pulling it off.
