If it really bothers you id just get the aal, they aren't all that expensive, maybe $60-$80. Im running the toytec one on stock leaf pack and OME shocks, lifted it up about 2.5". I see where everyone else is coming from telling you to save it but Im like you, can't stand when I'm driving around an eyesore even if its just an eyesore to me haha.

On another note, plastidipped plastic part of my front bumper, came out nice

AALs are fine on new leaf packs.

But, on 15 year old springs I'd save the money and put it towards being a little bit closer to getting new springs. Just adjust your COs all the way down so you don't have bro-lean.

Also a good idea, honestly if he can barely swing an AAL or blocks how is he gonna buy the alignment he definitely needs after the front lift or lower.

Better than blocks though. And they're cheap enough for a temporary setup.

True. But I've heard very few good things about single aals. I've had and heard nothing but good experiences with progressive aals. You know what they say, you get what you pay for.

It depends what his plans are in the future for the rear, if he's gonna do a full leaf pack like dakar's or deaver's then might as well get a cheap aal instead of the progressives. Those are like 3 times what he wants to spend anyway.

alright, so if you are only gonna be sitting on the aal for a few months then I don't think a single leaf cheap aal will hurt

    Check Build thread
Since the topic of rear end is brought up.

If I were to go deavers in the rear and get a u flip bolt. Does the Deaver pack fit in the oem spot or would I have to buy total chaos shackles for example?

TC also sells a shackle pivot point, weld on. What would be the benefit of that or is that only necessary with a longer leaf pack?

Need opinions on the rear :/ front is already decided

    -thanks

Usually when I give my opinion on a rear end i end up getting slapped. Hope some others have some advice for you.

But... you can put the progressives on virtually any leafpack. So say he's eventually planning to add a ton of weight to the rear for camping, expo, overland crawling, what have you and the expos, deavers, dakars, what ever are sagging... throw on the progressives and bam, instant fix. Where as the singles would be likely to snap while flexed.
