Does anyone have the power rear window mod with this molle panel? It's the next mod I want to accomplish, but I'm not sure it would fit between the top of the panel and the glass.

*edit* I really need to proof read before post...

I was considering doing that mod myself, but I put it on the back burner for other projects. From the thread on that that I was following, I think it would fit behind the panel just fine as far as the motor goes.

I may have to give it a shot. It's fairly inexpensive, as far as mods go, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if it didn't work.

I wasn't concerned with the cost, more like the priority. I got 10 million things going on.

Hey TW members I'm only looking to get the passenger side (60 split portion) of the panel for my 2015 DCSB. I've already spoke with OP about posting here looking for someone to split the panel with and he is good with it. So if anyone is interested in splitting the panel and deal let me or the OP know and we can get on the list! Just to clarify who every is interested will be receiving only the driver side panel (40 split portion).

Got the panel and immediately cut myself on it. Be wary of the sharp edges, the machine shop didn't de-burr these much at all. Going to sand blast it and have it powder coated matte black. I milled out the holes to line up with the truck holes and might shave a tenth of an inch off the bottom to allow for carpet to flow under it. Overall very happy with the outcome minus the cut I have on my palm from sliding it out of the shipping sleeve.

Figured you guys may want to see some pics.
Same issues that everyone else is having - couple alterations to the bolt holes.

Actually mine were just the two middles that didn't line up right on. The right side were fine.
Nothing a little dremel work couldn't fix. :D

@GHOST SHIP I have two extra bolts that I didn't need. Still need them?

I'm noticing different people having issues with different holes. I have to wonder if its differences between the manufacture of each sheet and/or differences in the manufacture of each Toyota. Trying to tweak it for the next batch.

I test fit mine. Holes were fine. I put sound deadening material behind it and created some issues with bolt length, but was able to compress it enough to get a bite. All good here.

Doc, I believe the cause of issues is the Z fold in the panel, the amount of the fold affects the relationship of all the holes to one another. Since mine fit fine without modification to the holds (a 2015 DC) I guess my folds were right on spec with the truck.

I did that to mine too to keep rattle to a minimum. Put a few squares of foam weather stripping along the top. Probably didn't need it.
But gotta say, the back is nice and quiet.

Mine test fit fine without carpet under it and with carpet I only need to file a little on the two small holes on the passenger side. Just a couple passes with a rat tail file to make a little notch. It took less than a minute to file. Maybe remove 1/16" or 1/4" from the bottom of the panel to allow for differences in carpet/sound deadener on the floor of the cab?

I have a tip for gluing carpet to the back wall.

Magnets. Glue everything up and use magnets to hold everything down while the glue cures.

I would keep the smaller holes inline but the top ones enlarged since that bracket adds as a huge washer anyways
