Looks much better in person/in the sun thanks to Meguires NXT. Basically semi warm engine doused in purple power citrus degreaser. Cleaned off with regular garden hose this time, didn't think I really needed the pressure washer. After everything was dry I gave basically anything plastic or rubber a healthy coat of Meguires NXT Insane Tire Shine. The stuff is great and lasts forever. Makes subsequent cleanings much easier. Also did some little things like scotch brite pad to some surface rust on the master cylinder and Griots Garage speed shine to the inner fender well paint.

Yep. If I had that Tacoma he saw on the highway I'd totally have it done up like the Pizza Planet truck.

I really like the short more flexible style, well worth the money to me. Sorry about the dirty pics but have not washed truck since turkey season started.

Swapped out my less than 2 month old OME 887's for 886's. Got my lift back! A little frustrated the 887's were recommended to me when I stated exactly how much weight I would have up front.

    Ha ha!

Once these are worn down, I'll be ordering 285's. I'm definitely looking forward to that. Looks like my truck skipped leg day.

    I thought 887 were stronger than 886s?

Nope. They are the same length but the 886's are stiffer and are meant to be used for front ends with a lot of weight. 887's drooped immediately after I installed the steel bumper.

The guy at the shop said I shouldn't have any problems and that the 887's would provide a softer ride. Softer ride = no lift

@Kyitty I know you recently swapped out springs from the 887's to the 886's. How is that going for you?

You asked the wrong people then. You should have hit up the OME thread.

Splendidly! Wish I'd done 886 from the get go. Would have saved me $300 in labor costs. However, when I bought my lift I didn't originally plan to buy a bumper and winch. Plans changed.

    Truck rides great. :)

I went in dead set on the 886's based on my steel plate bumper. Then the guy said he would recommend the 887's because they could handle the weight and it would be a softer ride.

But, my buddy and I took the 887's off my truck and put them on his 2016. I only lost $50 and a few hours of my time.
