Yep loading phase. Not really necessary but it's up to you. Your stomach might love you more if you don't.

 

10g/day, any time you see fit, no need to load.

 

Not saying you are wrong - but IMO 10g is too much. I've seen it on bottles, but to me it's a marketing gimmick so you run out twice as fast and have to rebuy. Your body naturally makes creatine and you can get it in your diet from various foods. If you intake too much through supps your body may quit making it and you will also probably piss out most of what it doesn't need. 3-5g/day is what I have always heard as the consensus of what to take.

 

That's fine. Generally if you were taking a hydrochloride or type of ph buffered creatine I would agree. From my understanding creatine monohydrate has a lower absorption capacity in the body due to the acidic environment of the stomach and it's up to the renal system to expell the excess, like you say "piss out most".. Either way, creatine wont make or break you. Take it the way you prefer.

Did it not come with a measuring cup? 5g is a pretty small amount. Not even a spoon full unless it's a smaller kids spoon

Mine did not come with a scoop and says a serving (5g) is a teaspoon. I had and extra scoop from an empty pre workout tub that I use. It's 3.6g so I just make it a heaping scoop of Creatine

 

No scoop unless it's buried. I couldn't see or feel it in there

There's no scoop on the ON creatine. Just throw a spoon in there.


So there's a planet fitness less than a mile from the hotel I'm staying at (which doesn't have a gym) in Macon tonight and tomorrow night. Time for deadlifts
