Nice you'll love those, plus that size is C rated so it'll air down really well. They are a little louder (maybe because mine are getting worn now..) but I just turn up the radio, my truck is so loud anyway.

Where'd you get the hinge pins, they're 5/16th right? I ask cause I'm gathering everything to weld together tube doors.

    Haha I love tire noise!!!

they were a pain to find. Supposed to use 5/15 x 2-1/4.. Shortest I could find is 3" which is too long. It works but it's difficult to slide the pins in and out due to length so it sorta defeats the purpose. Can't find the stupid things anywhere so I might order them..

Turns out the centre hole of those rims was too small. But I have these to look at now

That would have been convenient. They pop up all the time though for pretty cheap

I love my MTR's! Best tire I've had yet except for noise and ice. But I survived lol.

They are great tires, I want a set when I go to 35s. But they don't last long on pavement so I'm gonna wait until I get a new DD.

I want a set of 37's or slightly bigger would work...

Mine aren't horrible considering I got mine used and are probably now at 50% or a little less.

That's what I read as well, but I'm not too worried as long as they last at least a couple of years.
I was going to go 35's, but decided I didn't want to spend the money on regearing it right away. Plus it's my daily driver

Not much is been done to the truck. my swaybar bolt broke off the other night so I decided to take the entire thing off. Honestly doesn't feel that much different, I haven't tested out the flex though. Just got back from a little drive taking the back roads from Wenatchee to Cashmere, thought you guys might enjoy this photo .

Could you do me a favour and look at your transmission fill line? I'm looking where comes out of the tranny on the passenger side and goes up. Where the two parts of the fill line connect it looks like it's coming apart and I'm losing fluid slowly..
    image.jpg
Should look something like this.. This is taken looking up under the truck from the passenger side of the tranny

Things seem to keep breaking. I have realized that this truck has obviously received very little care throughout its life. Going to fix the immediate things either by myself or at a shop, but of problems keep persisting the truck is going.

What's broken now? I'd help, but you're kinda far away, but I could be tempted for a mod weekend with promises of greasy food and various beverages. I'm building tube doors right now and having a blast, but my welder is saying NOOOOOOOOOO

Haha I've gotten tired of working on the girl so I'm gunna let my local shop, who I trust, do some work. I need to replace both Cv axles because they decided to blow today.. Gunna have the shop do timing, water pump, o2 sensor. Need to diagnose and fix where the tranny fluid is quickly dripping out from as well. Also the 2k rpm rattle I mentioned a while back has gotten worse- I'm gunna double check for loose heat shields and what not when I have the time. If I was in a different position in my life than these problems may not be a huge deal but between my classes, work, and various daily responsibilities I need something that I don't have to be fixing all the time. I'm just worried that once I fix these next things, the next weakest link will break and so on and so forth. My old Tacoma at 212k ran better than this one ever did. I hammered the thing but I took care of it!

So here are the CV axles I was given.. Wondering if I should even try to install them!? I feel like they're obviously different. What do you guys think??

I honestly have no idea, but they are a different length and that lower part on the right one looks to be a smaller diameter than the left.

Can that black piece come off and go into the new one?
