House upgrades seem to never end!
We want paint and carpet inside. Cement sidewalk and flag stone outside. Then redo the cool decking around the pool.
    Staying focused is hard.

I feel you on the cash tho but I'm kinda excited for home renovations too

Yah it is, when we bought the house paint inside, and carpet was #1 thing as the carpet was the original 30yr old one, $4500 later, but it's some super plush great warranty stuff from baker brothers. And yah pool deck, replaster/pebble sheen, maybe water rock feature, and possibly depending on cost adding another 8 ft or so to the pool for a lounge soaking area that's only a couple feet deep for like a couple chaise lounge chairs to lay on but still be partially in water.

Yah renovations are fun, I'm lucky to be close to lowes and Home Depot, so in constantly picking up clr deals and so on its allowed me to do a ton of upgrades, and stay cheap on budget.

My mom's 05 did this and she had to get a new motor that controlled the flap that let the air circulate from the cab.

Well that sucks. Never had one issue with the truck and now this and my passenger side visor broke this week. Oh well guess it could be worse! Do you know how much it cost to fix?

Mine did it for everrrr. Then I went offloading and accidentally hit a whoop way to fast. Rattled the shit out of my truck and now it's fine haha

DVR'd it. My FAV show on TV!

Seems like an awful amount of math to expect Army guys to do!

Could always be worse. With my wife out of commission we lost 4K a month income, but still have that income level setup. I have one more month of living before it gets real. Putting our 2012 Highlander up for sale to ensure I have living quarters for the next 6 months or so....

Our highlander made that noise. It was the valve controller. Ended up being just under $400 to fix it. As far as the visors... My Taco is an 05. A few weeks ago I was notified the visors were being covered on an extended warranty as there are too many failing... falling down.

Yah, but sadly for the most part this is probably the forever home, so it's more creature comforts and what we like. There's a house 2 blocks over, exact same floor plan minus the garage bump out that acts as a bonus room so like 6x20 room it's weird but was an option, it looks like it's pending for 300k, and less upgrades and not as nice finishes, that's 45k more then we paid 2 years ago, so at least appreciation is going good in the right direction.

I don't remember but I can ask her. Take your glove box out and look around when you press the button. You'll see the part moving and stick. It might be jammed up if you are lucky.

Well the main thing is we bought the house to be around the block from my wife's parents for free daycare, knowing we wanted kids. So minimum would probably be 10-15years here lol, depends on gap between the second kid of the range extends any further. So yah, but I'm happy house is a big lot, we went 4bed 3 bath off the bat so even with 2 kids I still have my office/game/gun room, anything I really care for I can remodel to have if I truly needed it.

Isn't that stuff super expensive? My cousin got a tiny patch of it in his yard and paid a couple grand for it...thinking he got taken for a ride.
