Yeah it's crazy too, I never really see the actual money.

Goes into account, bills come right out of that account.

    Like it never even happened!!!

Plus I can't just leave my post anytime I want. So fuck that. Time to check how much I got for the week

Dude I would rather nail my dick to a moving train than to be able to shit through a screen door without hitting a wire

A conversion? How tough was it on install and finances? The thought of doing that has crossed my mind more than once.

Hardest part was swapping the transmission by myself. I spent about $2k for everything needed, collecting parts for two years.

I've been DD'ing the crawler for the last three weeks while I worked on the conversion.

That's not so bad. I've been debating whether to convert my already modded, 200k miles 06 2wd or just buy a new truck after I pay it off. Truck still runs stellar at 200k though.:D

BTW, that crawler is beautiful. <3:drool:

I only have 64k on this '07. I got lucky with the parts, bought most of them from friends. Most people end up spending $3500-4500. I also put 4.56 gears in the front diff and twin sticks in the FJ case (didn't include those with the $2k). I still need to fab the shifters to go around the auto shifter.

That's a sweet setup though for 2k. I suppose you just have to play your cards right to get it down that expense. I've also heard that the FJ t-case is beefier, yes?

If you want to build another one of those cross members and make some $$$ then let me know. I'm in the process of getting parts to swap mine, and that's one of the few things I lack and really don't want to have to build. How're you operating the add though?

I don't really feel like making another one , I used the ends and center of a 4x4 crossmember, it's different from the prerunner. You will need the transmission mount too.

The ADD is wired to a SPDT switch mounted in the dash. It's easy to wire but I bought the RST harness to save some time.
