Oh boy oh boy it did. Especially because I was by myself and these suckers weigh 80 lbs each. On the drivers side, the brake lines run on the inside of the axle making it a bitch to get my big ass hands on there. Plus drilling the 5 holes per side took forever and 3 drill bits. I aint even mad though because I made them my bitch in the end.

If I was able to weld, I would have totally done that. Would have saved such a head ache, and money too. These were too good of a deal to pass up though. Got All Pro Apex Heavy duty, line-x'd, never mounted, for $600.

thats not bad....and now that you said AP heavy duties....yeah I know now haha. we tried to install a set on someones truck down in destin. but it was such a pain, I guess someone at AP ended up welding the up wrong or something since nothing was lining up properly. I know Eddy's stuff is pretty solid, so, whenever I get the money, ill be getting a set of his weld on's

Haha! May have been the guy I bought these from since he's in Destin. The line-x made it tricky too. My first choice was from Eddy since he makes some pretty bomb stuff. If I didn't buy these I was thinking of snagging a bumper from the GB.

No, some other guy who's made like 15 posts on here in the past couple years. I hope eddy does another group buy before the year ends. That'd be dope. So I'm pretty sure your truck is the only one I've seen with a stinger. Is it Eddys?

ah gotcha, im hoping so too.....eventually he'll do another one. yeah it's eddy's, I got this bumper when he was still in his garage lol, he had to buy a new die just to bend the stinger haha. I paid extra for the stinger of course, but im surprised no one else has gotten the stinger

It looks SO damn good on your truck. I think it might look a little funny on a truck with not as wide a stance, but I'm not sure.

Yeah I went through about three Cobalt bits myself. Cordless impact driver with the Milwaukee QD bit was my savior.

I used a floor jack underneath the drill to press it into the frame with ease. Worked flawlessly. Until my drill bits shit the bed. Over all I'd say it was about an hour of drilling.

What clip are you talking about? I am of no help to you, but I'm curious.

It's hold the bottom of the window. It's plastic and screws into the metal frame that move the window up and down

How far are you from pensacola? If you're really far, I wouldn't mind swinging by a couple junk yards for you this weekend.
