Upgrade ARB stock foglights

As some of you know the arb foglight kit is old tech, expensive for what you get. Does anyone fab/ know of a drop in replacement that is better than the arb... this is my 2nd arb last one from the 2000's and wasn't impressed then, definitely not now...

 

Tried to get and info from ARB yesterday on their fog lights. They could only tell me they were clear, 55w, H3 bulbs. Not sure if that was any change from what you already have.

Very interested in more discussion here.

 

Asking ARB if the KC Gravity 4" LED foglights will fit. There was a thread saying KC was making a replacement for OEM Foglights... I also asked KC if theirs would fit the arb bumper

ARB says their round openings are 4 1/2" vice industry standard for 4", but, like the ones below, surround might be possible.

 

ARB Tech comfirms that their foglights are actually 4" diameter, so that helps. but they only snap in. I'm talking with KC Lights to see if there is a approach vector that might work.

BTW -- Does anyone know of any difference between 2nd Gen pre-facelift (2005-2010?) and Post Facelift (2011-2015) in regards to the foglights -- either mounting, performance, grounding etc?

Agreed, the fog lights are nothing special. I opted out of them when I ordered my bumper, but later found a used set. If a up close picture of how they mount to the bumper is needed, just let me know. With enough patience and ingenuity, I'm sure you could fit any brand of light in there.

 

Good close-up and measurements would be great.

Yep, I had been vacillating on which bumper to go with, and procrastinating since I know I have to do a suspension upgrade at the same time, but that pic, as well as the ARB promo of $175 credit for a winch upgrade has perhaps moved me over the.line.

 

There's a GB on OME stuff now, plus I think you can add a rebate for the suspension parts from ARB into the mix... what's this winch credit? I'm going to have to look into it.. basically sounds like get this all done by the end of the month and save 600$ arb website 150$ visa card and according to @ramonortiz55 u can apply it

I'm also procrastinating on getting a bumper but I'm set on the ARB - do you know when the winch promo expires?
