    You're definitely going to want a DD but a cage will probably save your life. If you do it right you can keep it pretty quiet and comfortable but still be safe.

    It will be cheaper to get a newer comfortable truck that can tow, and a little truck that will really handle in the dirt. Double cabs in the dirt are a headache because of the weight, length, etc, imo.

    The faster you go the more expensive it gets too...

    Hey guys thanks for all the good advice. I took it to heart and bought a 1989 4Runner today. I plan to long travel it and eventually put a 1jz or 2jz under the hood.

    i wish glass works would make a front 6.5 fender with a rise that matches the TT bedsides.. i dont see how they say the 6.5 has a 4" rise when they roll down off the hood.. thats the only issue i have with them.. cause they would proly fit the DTF kit but they would look goofy with TT bedsides.. so im lookin at fiberwerks even though i dont think they are a true 6" flare.. or engage.... even though all the shit i hear about them.. im guessing though ill prolly end up with fiberwerx... this is been my hardest choice so far lol..
