Nice! I'm over here about 30 miles from VA Beach, and we got some earlier but rain has taken over and melted it...

I just got off from a snow removal shift in Fairfax! We just spread salt this evening but the other crew will be dropping plows about now. We'll be busy all weekend, probably at least until Monday. I love this part of the job!

I'm in Virginia too and I measured about 2 hours ago and we had 7 1/2" . I'm guessing that by now we should have 9" easily.

I just got off the phone with my sister in law who is (or was) driving from Rhode Island to Alabama. They're holed up in an Econolodge somewhere in Virginia, she didn't know the name of the town and they don't expect to get back on the road until late today or tomorrow. Said the snow was drifted right over the top of her car. Oh well, what's a road trip without a little adventure thrown in!
