Too poor for dimes, just pennies.

Billy is going to try to squeeze me in next week for my bumpers. He is doing front and rear so hopefully he can finish it by the 21st. I don't want to rush him though. Cant wait until its done, the only armor that will be left to do is the skids which im in no rush for those. the stock skids do their job.

What should we name the taco ? Hmm I'm not sure... I'm trying to go 35s, so a cab mount chop are going in when I get a chance, sas is a possibility, but we shall see. Gotta prove the Long Beds are Beasts.

Billy does a great job, but I just don't have the Mula to pay the premium price. I'd rock his armor if I could. But can't wait to see your rig, I'm excited to see the step latter on the side, I've always loved 4runners.

that works, realistically by the time I get ready and all my gear packed ill be out the door by no later than 8am I can probably expedite that a little faster by packing the night before. We can get there by 1030ish. I think my brother and my homie with the LT FJC will be going too, most likely they'll meet us there since my bro is coming from bako.

Cool cool, I wasn't sure if I knew anyone who was going, so I was going to rent some quads if I get there early before most people. Lol. You guys planning on camping the night at the dunes ? I think I'm going to rent a place for the lady friend's comfort.

Ill be camping, I should have my RTT before the meet just depends when billy gets done with my rig. If not I have a good ol ground tent I can use. Or Ill just sleep in the back like I did last time. I was actually thinking about bringing my utility 4x4 quad. I just don't know how harsh the dunes would be on that suspension lol.

I'd love a RTT but the pice tag... not to mention a roof rack... that's over 2 grand for my taco... Or go with the bed mounted versions, which defeats the purpose of a truck bed...

Especially for my double cab Long bed... 3042945e3cc57e7abc2dc92a1cc4e55a_d47e47b2abb5e8193c47b115ea807154cf2d7b00.jpg

yeah its a lot of money to dump on a tent. Its mostly comfort for my GF and my daughter. If my daughter feels like shes in a club house or high up shell find it more interesting to go camping. I wouldn't mind using a ground tent though as long as Im outside is all I care about. What lettering are you going with on the satoshi? raptor lettering? FJ40 lettering?

Yeah I've always camped in a ground tent, and on some nights, just in a sleeping bag. No problem carrying a $100 tent around.

Here's what I mocked up, Satoshi. Still in the process of drying and sanding right now. It's been epoxy-ed, and bondo-ed, now just need a sanding and primer, sand and paint. Then do some kind crazy thing for the letters, thinking about making it Glow with sanded plexiglass behind it for a "ice" effect.

I like the thin, but I gotta experiment on ways to mount it, deep it hits my speaker for my PA. Well see how I end up getting it to work.
