Got my hood swapped today. Super nice guy, very easy to switch and we're both happy with the outcome. I couldn't even leave without taking a picture I was so excited.

Yah the hood scoops make the truck look so much better in my opinion. To bad they were not functional.

Finally decided on wheels. Was not an easy decision. Then replaced the heavy 275/70/17 KO2 tires with 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W tires. Pretty damn satisfied!

I hate the view of the scoop from inside the truck... I looks pretty mean from the outside. All else equal I would rather it not be there for a better view

So how do you get one? I have emailed Dave at Rad with no response. They don't list them on their website. Is this a hobby for them outside of making their racing components? Do they just make them when they have time? I want one, but can't seem to get a hold of anyone. How did you do it

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
I don't think that was the issue... I haven't heard of a K&N fouling a MAF sensor anyways. Maybe the consumer is applying the oil incorrectly...?

Exactly...I haven't noticed how far the MAF is from the intake filter on the new Tacoma 3.5, but on all older toyota trucks it was very close. Over time, if you put a decent amount (or too much) oil on the filter it would creep it's way up the intake tube and coat the super-sensitive/fragile MAF sensor...throwing the code. Very common.

ARE Cap, Thule everything that would fit, 3inch lift, 31.5's BFG AT KO's, Took off front lower valance, waiting for Borla to make an exhaust and ARB to make a snorkel. Any one recommend a bull bar or winch mountable bumper?
