That is my exact point! Don't fan the flames.

The Customer Service should not end when the check clears.

Preach it brother! Like I said earlier, I thought Toytec was great. Now following a bum merchandise return experience and the comments made by Toytec lifts on a public forum to a customer...I'm out.

    NONE.....yet!

 Don't have any experience buying from them, but prices are too high compared to competitors......even with the discount. Some of us do shop around, and after those bullshit comments (sounds like an ebay response)to a customer of theirs, I won't be buying anything. I hope both parties can resolve this one..........

It took me 2 minutes to find instructions online for my toytech AAL. (I was double checking which way the short end goes because I'm paranoid when it come to my truck.) it probably would have taken you that long to find the instructions on how to adjust the billie's. Also, using the "search" button on this site will open a wealth of knowledge for you. So enjoy it as it will probably answer most questions you could ever have about your Tacoma.
I've done allot of buisness with toytech and I will continue to do so because of the fast shipping and responsive customer service( try calling them, I've found that works faster than an email).

    Toyota's are awesome

So instead of Darrick trying to find you some detailed information we should have just replied “The C clips are moved up or down on the shock for adjustment” and ignored every other post or email from you like most companies do….Would you have been happy with that?
I apologize for him going out of his way instead of just answering a simple question and trying to find you detailed instructions.

To clear things up we do indeed have a clue how 5100s are adjusted. The C clips are moved up or down on the shock, this is explained on Billstein’s website and on every Google search website I pulled up searching “Bilstein height adjustable shocks” for less than a minute. One of the first replies to your post also explained this.
I am surprised you never contacted our support or Bilstein and apparently spent more time bashing Toytec and posting in this thread then it would take to search, send an email, or pick up the phone and make a call. I cannot find any history of you ever contacting Support@toyteclifts.com or calling us directly. The only contact was an IM through this forum and emails to our forum rep Darrick who did try to help you.

Unfortunately everyone cannot always call our order line and talk to a suspension specialist immediately for 30 minutes every time so we can explain everything step by step and the same goes for Bilstein. We answer as many as 100 tech support emails and phone calls every day in an effort help our customers with problems and give them support with products we sell that many times are not ours or even sold by us; call around and see how many off road companies can hold that reputation.

With a thread title like this you can expect a stand up company like Toytec to defend itself and explain what should be obvious. This is our last post in this thread as we have explained everything and we would rather spend our time and efforts at this point helping other customer’s; this apparently is the 1% unhappy customer we cannot help.

Dude, quit while you're ahead! You're not making any friends out here. Even in this post you're belittling your customer. You're breaking Rule #1 of Business 101. Is it safe to assume you never took that class?

I'm arguing both sides. If you look back in the thread you will see that I mention that if you need directions for shocks, you need to just pay to have them installed.

The other side though. Mr. "Toytec Lifts" is handling this situation in an astronomically unprofessional fashion.

I give the OP credit for asking. All he wanted is someone to point him in the direction to find the directions. How do we learn? At least he did not pull off the coils and hurt himself.

As for Toytec, you can read the posts and draw your own conclusion.
