I'm pretty confident it is. The day it happened it was pretty snowy and the drivers side tire wouldn't do it's job. And when it tried to it would make lovely clicking and popping noises.

 

Thanks Gents, the services were in Guernsey and we swung by Laramie Peak. Snowpack blocked the road about 3.5 miles shy of Friend park. Was a beautiful drive!

I spent 4 years living out there in Yorktown and working in Newport News and the Norfolk area. No one lives out there out of an endearing love of the sea or the people. When I left I was one happy camper. I was only there because the Navy took me there against my will.

 

Yup and surprisingly it wasn't the biggest turd there. A few friends and I put the show together and we pulled a really good crowd.

 

My ex drug me out there from Casper in 03 and I've been unable to find my way back. My kids got another four years of school and the wife's a rocket scientist. I expect we will be free in 2020.

I ended up going to Birdeye Rd, near mile marker 109 of US 20. It's technical enough for a corolla in places. The worst spot may have needed an AWD matrix. The road is a BLM access road and after a few miles is poorly maintained. You might crease your seat in a Corolla. Here's some pics.

Well it sounds like the wife is making some good cash so that's a reason to stay there. If the wife is from out here then you're good to go because you can get her to move back. They guy's with the big problem are those from the west that meet their wife on the east coast and then want to move back west. There ain't no way you can pry an east coast girl away from the east coast if she grew up there. I suppose it's been done but it's not a very regular happening.

Still want to write up our last one. Just haven't had time. I did a small section of Canada part for my class and it was good.

 

All canadiaians are cool in the my book. Well....most. All the ones I've met have been great. The BC guys we met where amazing.

The expoP thread of that has over twice the hits then here. Pretty crazy.

 

Also did Timmys rig survive? Mostly his diffs this time. And Kevin good?

 

The track shows Mr Tim got home a couple of hours ago. Probably safe to assume cBob survived just fine.

I don't have any information on Kevin.

 

You're smart because the east coast may be a wonderful place to visit but it sucks to live there. Too damn many people and not enough freedom.
