This is very similar to what I get! I'm in South Surrey/Cloverdale where I do most of my driving. Definitely can get it in the 11's with Hwy driving around 100km/h. Easy. I'm pretty happy about that!

Nice, this is still my first tank of fuel. Will start tracking it better on the next one.

Just go to the home hardware, they were selling cans of the spray version the other day when I was in one.

Any word on when the 2017 pricing and ordering info will be out? I am on the verg or pulling the trigger on a DCSB manual but here is the kicker. I'm trading in a VW TDI! Now that some info is out on compensation and buyouts, I'm thinking it is smart to hold out for the 2017.

I'd hold out until I heard what VW is offering in form of buy back. You'll probably take a hit on trade in right now. Just my opinion.

New member here located near the longitudinal centre of Canada...;) I've been checking out this forum for some time while I was thinking about purchasing a Tacoma. Well, yesterday, I pulled the pin and made the deal. Now I only need to wait for the dealership to locate the truck I want.

For those of you who are interested, I bought a 2016 TRD Sport, automatic, double cab in silver sky. Total price, out the door = $45,120 (includes: all fees, GST & PST, bed mat, and 1 oil change). For those who want the "truck only" deal before taxes, that works out to $37,460 vs MSRP of $39,340 ($1,880 dif.). May not be the best deal on this forum, but it's the best I could get locally and I look forward to getting the truck and including myself as an official Tacoma owner!

Funny thing is, you don't notice them until you're driving them, then you see them everywhere.

Last night there were 2 at the same red light I was at, 3 of us sitting there probably staring at each other. I know I was looking! :D Today, I was being followed by a blazing blue TRD.

Oh, where in BC are you? I am on the island and was chasing down a white tacoma, turned out it was a man that looked to be in his 60's, I gave him the obligatory nod, he probably things I was trying to run him off the road or something, haha.

I'm in Pitt Meadows in the lower mainland, not on the island, there's a white TRD in the neighbourhood here too but have yet cross paths with him other than driving opposite sides of the road, and another black one I see every once in a while at the grocery store.

I see a black one and a white one occasionally here in the Nanaimo area. Saw a quicksand access cab, but that is about it.

Soon to be 2016 owner, been lurking ere about 6 months.
Is it true that we can only get the DCLB this side of the border? I've been pestering my dealer to find out for sure but he keeps telling me 6ft box only, I really wanted the 5ft box.
I caved and ordered a MGM, DCLB Trd sport + upgrade, auto. (kicking myself for not getting the 6mt & still torn if I should've ordered white instead of Mag gray)
I must've test driven (test drove?) a dozen different trucks but could only find one DC 6mt when I was in Calgary in November and could only get about 15-20 minutes of drive time. I've been fortunate that the dealer here gave me an epic deal on my trade ('09 H3T Alpha) and a great deal on the truck even though they had to special order it.
It's my first Toyota after a Nissan Skyline 10 years ago, an '05 1500 ecsb and lastly my H3T V8 offroad. I'll post up in the new member section once the truck shows up.

Yes it's true, if you want a DC short box you have to get a MT in Canada.

Cool, island is awesome. Spent lots of time north island Courtenay and Comox where my sister lived before moving to Dawson Creek. Lots to explore over there, Nanaimo is an awesome place to live, travel over there for business once in a while, you are lucky to live in such a beautiful space.

Thanks, not sure it is lucky, I just made the decision to move here about 6-7 years ago as I was tired of the urban lifestyle, I wanted more of a rural living, sadly Nanaimo is turning into a suburb of Vancouver, housing prices are starting to get crazy. Anyways, I am on my second move back to the island in that time frame as there is just not a lot of work here and am contemplating leaving again to hunt down permanent work instead of contracting out all the time. I tend to be gone 70-80% of the year for work, so I don't get to explore the area as much as I would like to. But yes you are right the place is truly spectacular, lots of beautiful scenery, places to explore and activities. It is an outdoor persons playground. Actually pretty much all of BC is like that.
