I run these trucks for their utility use and incredible resale. That said, I wash it often, wax it 4x a year, and leave mine bare bones stock. When people go to buy these trucks and they see a lift, huge tires, plastidip bullshit everywhere, things welded to the frame, and a huge snorkel on them it is assumed that you have beaten the piss out of it! Mods that are on mine?
    1. Weather guard floor mats (with every nickel)
    2. Good seat covers
    3. A fiberglass color matched topper
    4. Scangauge 2 to monitor trans temp
    5. Tekonsha p3 brake controller for trailers
    6. Tsc rubber mat cut to fit for bed mat.
    7. Good synthetic oils in the driveline
When I sell my trucks there is a fight over who gets it.

That's nice that you're concerned about the future owner by not having fun while you're the current owner.

My truck is my daily driver that hauls home paychecks. My toys are all custom. I just like that I can drive these trucks for years and get my money back. A vehicle is the most expensive thing you will own. When I put the for sale sign in, everyone wants it. Hate the game not the players guys

Kids be how I gets my food, healthcare, and other cash and prizes! Metro be payin out for my crib, so that be free! Baby mommas love the taco! Just kidding! I own six houses and they make me money. Like Casper said, we all do it our own way. I guess it would be a big decision before I cut holes or welded things on my truck.

i modified the crap out of my camaro and caught alot of flack from people who cares it's my car. my truck got a simple lift and bigger tires but everything i've done can be reversed in a day my choice but i'm sure there will be people who turn up their noses 1 way or the other. make it yours and enjoy it

I run a '66 corvette. It had a 1968 dz302 in it until last year. I put all the original numbers matching parts back in to make it correct. Put back a crisp 350hp 327 with hydraulic lifters. Runs good, but nothing like the scream of those solid lifters. Don't miss setting them up! Looking for an original z with the wrong motor now. Good looking camaro!

I'd tape a hood scoop on the roof and put on tons of pinstripes.
